I’m Marijke, an artist, writer and zinemaker based in Tamaki Makaurau Auckland. I explore sapphic queerness in my work, creating pieces that can speak to my own and others experiences of queerness.
I also like to have some fun creating pieces that reflect on the trails of everyday life in a playful and joyful way. I’m interested in using creativity as a tool for community engagement and wellbeing and am always keen to get involved with that where I can.
